Volunteers will assist with seasonal parties, craft activities, educational classes, and tutoring sessions on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. From one-time events to ongoing commitments, the City of Boulder offers a wide range of rewarding volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups. There are many ways to give back to the trail, and it's not all trail work! You can help with our mission of maintaining the Trail through Trail Crews and the Adopt-A-Trail program, and there’s a long list of other non-trail work related volunteer opportunities below! Our volunteer patrollers ride designated County, City, and USFS trails and provide simple, helpful assistance, including giving directions, helping with minor mountain bike repairs, and educating riders about the rules of the trail. Trail Builders — there are a number of trail building activities planned around the county in the coming months. The City of Boulder is recruiting for youth groups and families (15-20+ participants) to take part in a special summer volunteer project at the South Teller Trailhead. Volunteer opportunities include trail and general maintenance, wildlife/plant monitoring and inventory, stewardship/learning projects, internships, research, and individual projects such as photography, data input, tool repair, or recording oral histories. .
